Orthodontic
Treatments in Less Time
In the past, wearing braces meant 3 – 5 years in active treatment.
But that’s the past. Although time varies per individual, you can
complete your active treatment in 6 – 24 months or less! And with
the latest techniques, doctors can make braces more attractive and
very comfortable. Let us identify which type of orthodontics is
suitable for you.
An
Alternative in Orthodontics
With Invisalign™ invisible aligners, you can have straight teeth in
only 9 – 15 months. They correct everything traditional braces do –
overbite, underbite, crossbite, gapped teeth, and overcrowding.
These thermoplastic aligners are designed with three-dimensional
imaging technology. A series of aligners are created starting with
the current position of your teeth through the final corrected
position. They resemble teeth-whitening trays and fit your teeth
exactly. Approximately every two weeks you move onto the next set of
aligners that gently and gradually reposition your teeth. Total
treatment time varies according to individual needs. Evaluation is
necessary only every four to eight weeks.
Invisalign
Keeps You Confident
Invisalign offers distinct advantages over traditional braces. As
the name suggests, they are nearly invisible. Someone would have to
look extremely closely to notice them. This is often an important
factor for patients with a professional life.
The aligners are also comfortable because they are all in one piece,
like a retainer. There are no wires that need to be adjusted, no
headgear, and no brackets attached to your teeth. This eliminates
any mouth irritation. With no adjustments necessary, you spend less
time in the dentist’s chair.
You wear the aligners throughout the day and during sleep, but you
remove them when eating and brushing. This allows you to eat and
drink whatever you want – absolutely no food restrictions during
treatment. Since they are removable, you can clean your teeth as
well as they need to be.
