Relax
with Oral Sedation Dentistry
We are understanding of patients who are anxious about dental care.
The shots, drilling, and other procedures increase nerves, sometimes
to an unbearable level. We want all of our patients to be
comfortable during their care in our office. With conscious sedation
dentistry, you will be completely calm and relaxed.
After taking one pill one hour before your appointment, you will
begin to feel relaxed. Gradually, you reach a deeper level of
relaxation by the time you are sitting in the dental chair. You are
very calm and unaware of the procedure, but able to respond to any
questions asked by the doctor. Your vital signs will be monitored
throughout your treatment. When the work is completed, someone will
drive you home and within an hour or so, you are completely
conscious again.
You are not completely “out” like you would be for surgery. You are
in a very calm state that relieves you of your anxiety. This is
important to know, as some people have an even greater fear of being
completely unconscious. You do not lose control of your perception
of what is happening around you. Conscious sedation provides just
the right level of serenity to make you comfortable throughout the
treatment.
For those who are resistant to anesthesia, this type of sedation
does the trick in place of getting numb. If you need extensive
dental work, you can have years of work accomplished in one visit
with conscious sedation dentistry. We also offer nitrous oxide,
commonly known as laughing gas, for those who have lighter needs for
sedation.

Adult Dental Braces
Orthodontic
Treatments in Less Time
In the past, wearing braces meant 3 – 5 years in active treatment. But that’s the past. Although time varies per individual, you can complete your active treatment in 6 – 24 months or less! And with the latest techniques, doctors can make braces more attractive and very comfortable. Let us identify which type of orthodontics is suitable for you.
An Alternative in Orthodontics
With Invisalign™ invisible aligners, you can have straight teeth in only 9 – 15 months. They correct everything traditional braces do – overbite, underbite, crossbite, gapped teeth, and overcrowding.
These thermoplastic aligners are designed with three-dimensional imaging technology. A series of aligners are created starting with the current position of your teeth through the final corrected position. They resemble teeth-whitening trays and fit your teeth exactly. Approximately every two weeks you move onto the next set of aligners that gently and gradually reposition your teeth. Total treatment time varies according to individual needs. Evaluation is necessary only every four to eight weeks.
Invisalign Keeps You Confident
Invisalign offers distinct advantages over traditional braces. As the name suggests, they are nearly invisible. Someone would have to look extremely closely to notice them. This is often an important factor for patients with a professional life.
The aligners are also comfortable because they are all in one piece, like a retainer. There are no wires that need to be adjusted, no headgear, and no brackets attached to your teeth. This eliminates any mouth irritation. With no adjustments necessary, you spend less time in the dentist’s chair.
You wear the aligners throughout the day and during sleep, but you remove them when eating and brushing. This allows you to eat and drink whatever you want – absolutely no food restrictions during treatment. Since they are removable, you can clean your teeth as well as they need to be.

Dental Crowns Dentist
Have
Your Crown Made and Placed in One Visit
If you have ever had a crown placed before, you know how it works. Several trips to the dentist are made, there is waiting time while the permanent crown is manufactured, and sometimes there is an even longer wait if the crown does not fit properly.
But it doesn’t work like that anymore. With the advanced technology of a computerized design and milling device, you can have a permanent crown made and placed in just one visit! No longer do you have to wait for two weeks while it is being made. No longer are there two or three visits to the dentist. In one short appointment, your crown will fit precisely and look great! CEREC™ is the system that makes all this possible. It provides patients with a very durable and totally functional crown.
The procedure is very easy. Our doctor applies a reflective powder on the tooth. An accurate picture is provided from a special camera. The image is shown on a computer screen, and the doctor designs the restoration. CEREC automatically creates the actual crown. It is then bonded to the surface of the tooth. You couldn’t ask for this process to be faster, easier, or more efficient, could you?
